2022 Christmas House Tour
The Monroe Historical Society’s Christmas House Tour, a joint effort with the Save Our Stepney Task Force, will be held Saturday, Dec. 10, with open visiting hours from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
Tickets, which are $30 for adults and $25 for seniors, are available at the Adult Circulation Desk.
Stepney Bicentennial Commemorative Calendar
Stepney and the town of Monroe turn 200 years old in 2023. The library is
celebrating by offering the Stepney Bicentennial calendar, which depicts photos of events around Stepney, along with historical notes over the last two centuries.
Calendars are for sale for $15 at the Circulation Desk until the end of December. All proceeds support the Save Our Stepney Task Force.
Programs
Lynn Lewis and Santa for pre-K is Thursday, Dec. 15, at 10:30a.m. It will be a Holly Jolly musical morning when Lynn Lewis visits the library with holiday songs and a visit
from Santa! Bring your cameras for a photo opportunity with your child sitting on Santa’s lap after the concert.
Registration is not necessary for this event. Free tickets will be available 15 minutes before the show and will be limited to 100 participants.
Teen Jewelry Making: Winter theme, Saturday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m.
Author Talk: Dr. Marianne Bette, Monday, Dec. 5, at 5 p.m. via Zoom
