Dorothy H. Fourchette, 98, of Monroe, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on December 26, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late John Fourchette.
Dorothy will be deeply mourned by her children, Geraldine Westover of Monroe, Laloni Burton of Tallahassee, Fla., and Patricia Marshall and her husband Jim, of Orange; her grandchildren Michele Soltisiak of Monroe, Ryan Soltisiak of Monroe, Elaina Macris, of West Haven, Anna Niemiec of Connecticut, and beloved niece Barbara Salvo of Derby.
She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as close friends of the family. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was predeceased by her grandson, John Pomianowski.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 3, 2025, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home.
Burial to follow the funeral service at Long Hill Burial Ground, 53 Middlebrooks Avenue, Trumbull. Family and friends are invited to gather for a luncheon at 23 Ryegate Terrace, Monroe, immediately following the burial.
