Dodge Challenger reported stolen from Stanley Road

MONROE, CT — A 2018 Dodge Challenger was reported stolen from a driveway on Stanley Road Wednesday.

Police said the car was left unlocked with the keys inside during the theft, which occurred sometime overnight.

In a separate incident, a Hattertown Road woman told police two vehicles were entered on her property, though nothing was taken. She reported it on Wednesday and police said it occurred sometime overnight.

Lost and Found

Someone lost a $7,200 check at Jockey Hollow Middle School. Police said the check was found on Thursday.

Anyone who thinks it is theirs, should call the Monroe Police Department at 203-261-3622.

Holiday Food Drive

Police officers will collect donations at Village Square Shopping Center, 401 Monroe Turnpike, during a Holiday Food Drive on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will benefit the Monroe Food Pantry.
