What makes you a great candidate for the Board of Finance?
For the last four years I have served on the Board of Finance (BoF) and for the last two years I have also served as Vice-chair of the Town Pension Committee. Prior to being elected in 2019 I regularly attended both Town Council and BoF meetings so I understand how the town government works.
While my children were in school I rarely missed attending Board of Education (BoE) meetings. I continue to go to BoE meetings, especially during budget season. This provides me with a detailed knowledge of the funding needed by the school system. While serving on the BoF, I have worked to ensure that the town moves forward and addresses its needs while working to keep tax increases to a minimum.
