What is an issue affecting the town that you care about most and want to make a priority? How will it guide your decision making?
The ongoing pressures that all communities are facing with the evolution of online retail creates increased pressure to recruit and retain quality business which requires a more diversified land use policy.
This includes increasing our mixed use and senior housing regulations in order to retain our downsizing families as well as create more affordable housing to draw young families and recent college graduates who will call Monroe home.
In addition, the Planning and Zoning Commission under my leadership has been working hard to streamline and simplify our land use regulations.
