What is an issue affecting the town that you care about most and want to make a priority? How will it guide your decision making?
Hall: Monroe has limited business and industrial space for new development, so we need to focus our efforts on redevelopment of the existing commercial spaces to bring in new businesses to Monroe to reduce the tax burden on residential property owners.
Land use that preserves our open spaces and wetlands will allow Monroe residents to continue to enjoy the benefits of our rural and agricultural heritage. I believe we need increased transparency in P&Z processes with stepped-up enforcement of our current policies to protect our residents and businesses.
