Audrey Zalinger Locorotondo enjoyed gatherings with family and friends

Audrey Zalinger Locorotondo, 67, of Monroe, passed away peacefully at home on October 8, 2024 after a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

She was born in Bridgeport on April 24, 1957 to the late Charles and Shirley Zalinger.

Audrey graduated from Andrew Ward High School in 1975 and went on to earn an Associate’s Degree from Arizona Technical College in Computer Software Engineering.

She worked as a project manager for various companies including IBS, Meca, Taunton Press, and Epsilon/Publicis.

Audrey enjoyed baking with her friends and family and planning parties to bring people together. She volunteered for 14 years with Women Involved in Newtown,
including serving as the president.

Audrey was heavily involved with CurePSP, PanCAN, and Relay for Life. She also participated in multiple breast cancer charity walks.

Audrey is survived by her beloved sons, Michael (Kelsey) of Cheshire, Jacob of Austin, Texas, and her siblings, Debi (Dick), Alfie (Marilyn), Rob (Karen) as well as eight nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 13, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Abraham L.
Green & Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT 06824. Calling hours will be held at 10 a.m.
