Amazing! Masuk’s “Mamma Mia” production had it all: great sets, costumes, energy, lighting, sound system, band, and, of course, incredibly talented students. With a crew of 50, 60 performers and, also, double casting the lead roles, at times it must have been like trying to herd cats! Michael Katz and his team put on an incredibly, professional show.
Get your tickets for next weekend’s matinee or evening show and enjoy a wonderful experience. Don’t miss it. I remember too well the years that Monroe cut the arts and music programs and think about the opportunities those students didn’t have.
All our students deserve the chance to excel. I urge the elected officials to continue to support them by fully funding our schools.
