The Monroe Sun offers several membership plans:

All visitors to the site will still be able to read the latest press releases, articles written by Masuk Capstone students, Community News articles chronicling individual accomplishments and events around town, obituaries and vital information during emergencies, such as major storms.

Full membership: A full membership includes access to the above information as well as locally reported news stories and features, including government, education, police news and sports, for $10 a month or $99 per year with one annual payment.

Business Gold membership: If you are a business owner, a Business Gold membership will get you full access to all Sun content, as well as a Leader Board advertisement that appears at the top of the site for an annual fee of $1,000.

This is significantly lower than the regular Leader Board rate of $500 per month. Those interested in this membership should email Bill Bittar at themonroesun@gmail.com to make arrangements on the ad design.

Business Silver membership: A Business Silver membership offers access to all of the Sun’s content, as well as a Sidebar Ad for an annual fee of $500. This is a significant savings. Normally a Sidebar Ad costs $400 a month for a Top Sidebar, $300 a month for a Middle Sidebar and $250 a month for a Lower Sidebar.
