What do you like most about being a teacher?
What I like most about being a teacher is building strong connections with my students and watching them grow in confidence, both in the classroom and as people. It’s so rewarding to see them overcome challenges, celebrate their successes, and know that I’ve played a small role in helping them to believe in themselves.
What are you most excited about working in Monroe?
I’m most excited to teach in Monroe, because of the strong sense of community here. It’s clear that families, schools and the town itself all value education and work together to support children. I can’t wait to be part of that team effort and to help my students grow, not only academically, but as kind, confident members of the community.
I also just moved to Monroe, so it’s extra meaningful to work in the district my own children will attend.
