SHELTON, CT — The Masuk High hockey team skated to a 7-3 win over Trumbull at the Sports Center of Connecticut on Wednesday night.
Christian LaBella factored into all of the Panther scoring with five goals and a pair of assists. Luke Kondub had a goal and five assists and Teddy Walsh also lit the lamp. Chase DeSanto, Tommy DaPonte and Graham Cybart all had assisted goals in the win.
Goaltenders Maddex LaFountain and Brady Floramo combined on 24 saves. Masuk outshot Trumbull 44-27
Drew Kaufman scored twice and John Henry DiSimone recorded a goal for the Eagles.
Up next for the Panthers (9-5-2) is a contest with Amity in Shelton on Monday starting at 2:30 p.m.
