Masuk High’s boys basketball team went on the road and out of conference to defeat Bassick of Bridgeport 78-51 on Saturday.
The Panthers returned home and topped South-West Conference rival Bethel 69-61 on Tuesday and improved to 9-3 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
In the win over Bassick Alex Simoulidis scored 23 points and Mitch DeBernardo had 20 to pace the offense. Oliver Irving added 10, Stephen Sentementes had nine, and Chris Welch seven.
Against Bethel Simoulidis dropped in 21, DeBernardo had 17 and Gavin Saijon added 10.
