The proposed bonding  includes:

A $1,830,000 appropriation for costs including, but not limited to, carpet replacements at Masuk High and Jockey Hollow Middle schools, and a roof replacement at Jockey Hollow Middle School.

The costs include, but are not be limited to, design, planning, disposal, acquisition and construction, materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment, architectural and engineering fees, inspection and installation.

A $190,000 appropriation would be used to purchase safety equipment including, but not limited to, portable radios for the Monroe Volunteer Emergency Medical Service and a vehicle replacement for the Stevenson Volunteer Fire Department.

Prior to the Town Council vote to send the bonding resolutions to a Town Meeting, the proposals were reviewed by the Council’s Legislative & Administrative Committee.
