To the Editor:
Monroe needs a voice in Hartford that represents women and families. Beth Cliff has a proven track record of speaking up and speaking out when it comes to the issues that affect women, children, and our communities. She will ensure that women have an equal voice when decisions are being made. She will work to protect women’s autonomy when it comes to healthcare, especially reproductive healthcare.
The person who is currently our state rep has voted against access to reproductive healthcare.
Beth is committed to protecting and extending Connecticut’s leadership in gun safety legislation. She has an A rating from Connecticut Against Gun Violence (CAGV) unlike our current rep, whose rating is F and who has voted against common sense gun safety legislation.
Beth has been out in Monroe listening to voters and she will continue to do so. She will take our concerns and values to Hartford and will be a strong advocate for Monroe. She also will work to see that Monroe gets its fair share of State resources.
The towns around us are enjoying state financial support for key big projects. Monroe has been mostly left out. That needs to change and Beth Cliff is committed to making it happen. I’m voting for Beth Cliff for Monroe’s State Representative. Please join me. It’s time for a change.
