Edith Wheeler Memorial Library’s annual Halloween Parade marched through the building’s main lobby, down the sidewalk to Monroe Town Hall and to the police station downstairs Thursday morning, as children wearing a wide variety of creative costumes collected candy along the way.
Families were greeted by K-9 Officer Michael DeCarli and his dog, Riggs, who soaked up the attention when children pet him and posed for photos. Det. Stacy Cascante handed out candy nearby.
