MONROE, CT — The Masuk High girls volleyball team, the No. 3 seed in the South-West Conference Tournament, defeated No. 6 New Milford 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-17) in the quarterfinals at home on Tuesday.
With the win the Panthers will visit No. 2 Newtown in Thursday’s semifinals at 6 p.m. The winner will play in the Tuesday, Oct. 29, championship match at Western Connecticut State University at 6 p.m.
Masuk edged Newtown in a five-setter during the regular season.
