FAIRFIELD, CT — Masuk girls golfers beat Notre Dame of Fairfield 215 to 227 Wednesday, improving their record to 9-1. The Panthers will take a five game winning streak to Sunset Hill Golf Course when they play Brookfield High School on Monday.
On Wednesday, Izzy Roy led Masuk with a 52 on Fairchild Wheeler’s par 37 golf course.
Masuk’s other individual scores included Carrie Wittenauer 53, Sophia Heinrich 55, Lauren Breyan 55, Kate Wittenauer 59 and Emily Florin 66.
Alexa Volpacchio, of Notre Dame, had the best score of the day with a 50, but it wasn’t enough to propel her team to victory.
Notre Dame’s other individual scores were Rose Baker 57, Liz LaFrance 58, Rose Linkasamy 62, and Erica Nally-Gall 62.
