Monroe Police: Momentary glance at GPS leads to crash

MONROE, CT — A 21-year-old Trumbull woman told officers she glanced down at her GPS while driving north on Jackson Drive in her maroon Chevy Equinox Saturday evening, when she went through a stop sign and crashed into a tree in a yard on Cedar Lane, according to police. Monroe Parks and Rec. names middle school girls basketball all stars

MONROE, CT — Ten middle school girls were chosen for Monroe Parks and Recreation’s fifth and sixth grade all star basketball team and will play in an all star game against Newtown’s best players.
