BRIDGEPORT, CT — The Masuk girls volleyball team capped an undefeated week with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-10, 25-14) victory over host Kolbe Cathedral on Friday.
Captain Lucy Pagel led the way with 9 kills, 9 serve receives, 1 ace and 1 dig. Rose Kealey handed out 17 assists and added a kill of her own. Laura Micu (4 kills, 1 block), Sammy Sullivan (3 kills, 3 aces, 3 assists, 7 serve receives, 1 dig), Hannah Fagan (1 kill, 2 assists, 1 dig) and Jenna Datillo (2 kills, 1 ace, 1 dig) all had strong outings.
Alexis Mitrakis (4 aces) and Lila Pagel (2) contributed to Masuk’s strong service game.
Masuk will take the weekend to prepare for undefeated SWC foe Joel Barlow which visits Monroe on Monday, Oct. 3, at 5:30 p.m.
