To the Editor,
I encourage my fellow residents of Monroe to not only get out and vote on Tuesday, April 13, but to vote for Tony Scott for State representative.
I have worked with Tony on many Town projects throughout the years and know him to be a hardworking, dedicated person with the best interests of Monroe in his heart.
Tony will continue to advocate for lower taxes, business friendly policies, and for the State to fulfill their obligations to Monroe with grants, full Excess Cost Sharing, and fully funding pensions. I know Tony will fight against current proposals in Hartford such as the increased gas tax and increased statewide mill tax.
We need representatives who will work hard to get Connecticut off lists such as “worst places to retire.” A vote for Tony on Tuesday will ensure Monroe’s values are continued and fought for.
