MONROE, CT — Children played in a foam pit, climbed onto fire trucks, went down a giant slide and watched a K-9 demonstration during Monroe’s Night at the Park, held at Wolfe Park Tuesday night.
The free annual event, which allows residents to meet with police, firefighters, Monroe Volunteer Emergency Medical Service members and other community organizations and businesses, includes food, information on services and fun.
