Masuk Career Day needs more businesses, professionals

Masuk High School is located at 1014 Monroe Turnpike.

Carmen Mancuso, the college and career coordinator at Masuk High School, wrote the following letter asking businesses and professionals to participate in Career Day on Nov. 17:

What will Masuk High School seniors study for in college? What career paths will they take? This year’s annual Career Day will give students a wide range of options to consider. Since our students have missed out on this amazing event for two years, our goal is to offer more options than ever for them to consider.

On November 17, 2022 Masuk High School will host more than fifty career fields including those that can be entered immediately after high school graduation all the way to those careers requiring graduate school education. Up to 600 Masuk students will attend this program.  Career Day will be in Masuk High School’s gymnasium on Thursday, November 17th approximately from 7:30- 10:45. If you or someone you know is interested please fill out this FORM

I realize that everyone is busy, so I’m sending you this year’s coming Career Day date now in order to make scheduling easier for you and so I know what fields will be represented at Career Day.

I will be reaching out to all who complete the form with further details in early September. We are excited to be bringing back this opportunity for our students.

Career fields we need represented are, but not limited to:

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering

  1. The quoted letter from Carnen Mancuso states the date for Career Day as November 17th, it appears from this article with pics shows it was already held.

    Clarification?

    • Hi Lee, the website grabbed a related article for the Read Next which was a story on last year’s event. I’ll replace it so as not to confuse anyone.
