MONROE, CT — Bailey Bajda’s career-high 31 points lifted the Masuk High girls basketball team to a 62-55 win over visiting Immaculate of Danbury on Tuesday night.
The Panthers led 13-12 after one quarter and trailed 30-26 at the half before outscoring the Mustangs 21-13 in the third to seize a 47-43 lead going to the fourth,
Grace Sheppard and Emma Troesser both scored nine, Peyton Webb had eight and Maddie Farrer added five for the Panthers who improved to 3-1 heading into Wednesday’s home game with Wilby at 6 p.m.
